You are looking at a nice original 1978 Pontiac Trans am. It has its numbers matching 400 cubic inch V8 engine, along with its Hurst 4 speed manual transmission, It is Buccaneer red with a black interior, does have the screaming chicken logo on the hood. Great running and driving car.
Body/Interior The body and paint are in driver/Amateur quality condition(i would rate it a 6 out of a 10), it does still shine good.I was told this was a car from the Arizona area, It does have some paint bubbling and some clear coat has started to peel (see photos) The underside floorpans/subframe,rockers look good,The glass also looks good, The weatherstripping is ok, The interior is in good condition no rips no tears, The front bucket seats have both just been redone, dash is great with no cracks,The stereo has been upgraded with a JVC cd player unit. The car has seat belts all around, All gauges are in working condition.
Engine/Suspension Has its numbers matching 400 cubic inch that has been rebuilt with less than 2000 miles, The transmission has its Hurst original 4 speed manual set up and shifts really good, new clutch has been installed.Has dual exhaust. Suspension is tight and drives down the road very well. has factory front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, has power steering, The wheels are the factory pontiac rims in just ok condition, The tires are very good 245/60/15's all around. This is a factory AC car, needs compressor.
