1975 Buick LeSabre

The Buick LeSabre is a full size luxury car made by the Buick division of General Motors. This beautiful Red 1975 LeSabre ragtop represents the last of Buick's full-sized rear-wheel-drive land yachts. Many enthusiasts find the '70s Buick convertibles to be more stylish than their Chevy and Oldsmobile brothers with clean body design and that dramatic crease running from nose to tail a Buick hallmark. There's just enough chrome to trim it out in a classy manner. The white vinyl interior is in good condition given its age and the fact that it has lived its life as a convertible. Wide bench seats fore and aft make this a true 6-passenger luxury cruiser and as a Buick every power amenity was standard equipment: power windows power locks A/C a tilt wheel and a power front seat.  An original Delco AM/FM/ stereo is installed in the dash. The unit includes a non-operational 8 track stereo. The car has a white convertible top in good condition, a big block 455 CID/205 HP engine and a three speed automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes.  The car has whitewall radials on original Buick Rallye wheels. 1975 was the final year for the LeSabre Custom Convertible with around 5,300 of them rolling off the assembly lines, making this one highly collectable car today.

1975 also was the first year of the catalytic converter, and standard high energy ignition which was part of GM's Maximum Mileage System at the time. The 1975 LeSabre was the first to require use of unleaded gasoline, due to the advent of the catalytic converter. The LeSabre Custom lineup offered the coupe, two sedans, and the only convertible in the Buick lineup.
