Solid throughout. 3 years ago original 390 removed and installed a 1966 side-oiler medium-riser dual-quad 427. Fifteen over 12.5:1 TRW pistons, steel lemans crank, lemans rods, original medium-riser heads and intake, Crower cam. Two 600 Holly carbs,line-bored and balanced. 900 miles on this fresh motor. Aprox 550 HP. 69 top-loader big spline trans. Running 4:11 gears with 31 spline axles.
