Drivetrain is a TKO500, aluminum driveshaft, and 8.5" rear with Eaton posi and 31 spline axles.
Suspension is "fully leaned on" with Global west lower arms, SC&C uppers, Hotchkiss springs, & Adco sway bar in front. 5 leafs, solid bushings, and slide a links in back. Shocks are all QA-1's. Brakes are Wilwood Dynalite 12.2" disks. Steering is a thirdgen IROC Power Steering.
This car has been done since 2006 or so. She's been driven regularly since then. You could fly to Chicago tomorrow and drive her home and if she didn't get you there,
I've driven this car to Billings, Montana, to Kansas City, and to Yellowstone. She's also been down the 1320 at Byron Dragway a number of times.
She'll get 20+ MPG cruising at 80 and run low 12's all day, after driving to the track, and she'll get you home too. My buddies who have driven or ridden in the car tell me she feels like a new car. Smooth and solid, no creaks, no rattles, no muss no fuss. Just the purr of the 383 thru the Borla's, and the wind in your hair.
